Looks good to me too. The only thing with the i3 and 5 is there gonna be a pussy in a couple of years. And I like balls out, but that's just me. That board will upgrade easy so if you wanted to get and i3 or 5, to save money you could upgrade later. Thats a good price on that board too.
Why don't you get an AMD Opteron 6276 then? 16 cores must mean its the ballsiest thing out there. Except it sucks ass for gaming and rocks tits for things that are actually CPU intensive.
Well I got the mobo as planned..Bought it at computer direct..The cpu still coming next..Plan is to buy everything there as they will build it for$$off when you buy there..The difference is 15.00 more than online but hey don't need any fk ups by me lol..The i7 is like 80-90$ diff I may go that way for longer term reasons-This way I will need to upgrade just vid card and add memory -Token stuff after the 2 main things ..
Well, it would be a very low end right that wouldn't be able to run much of anything well. If you want a good one that will last you years aim for about $1500.
$500 will get you minimum settings. A mid grade graphics card alone is around 150-200. PSU will be around 100. You could probably find a decent mobo for $150. Thats $400 right there and that's only 3 parts. Although I have some spare parts laying around I don't need. Actually I'm trying to get rid of them... If you want we can work out a deal?
I'm leaning towards buying this Alienware (gag) Aurora that a guy I know is selling that he bought in 2007. It has some okayish specs currently, I would need to upgrade the video card and some other stuff but in he is selling it for only $200 so it is a very solid place to start
